Ethan Ashley serves as Special Counsel for Hampton & Harrison, LLC Attorneys at Law. The newest member to the Hampton & Harrison legal team, Ethan leads the governmental affirms practice and supports all civil litigation matters. Prior to joining the firm, Ethan worked on policy, advocacy and governmental affairs issues in many positions, including on the Hill, at the Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, the Urban League of Louisiana, at the ADL, and for the Washington Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.  

 

Ethan is also a proud elected member of the Orleans Parish School Board- serving as the District 2 Representative and immediate past President of the board. In his role as an elected school board, he served three terms as the legal and legislative chairman and is a current committee member. Beyond his elected service, Ethan is a board member of the National Juvenile Justice Network, the New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) and Boy Scouts of Southeast Louisiana. He also a proud member of the Louisiana Bar Association.  

 

Educationally, Ethan attended Howard University in Washington, D.C., where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Juris Doctor degree by the age of 22. Ethan is happily married to Arielle McConduit; and they are raising three amazing children (Crew, Jace and Sage). Ethan is a member of Franklin Avenue Baptist Church.
